Irv’s Pub

As soon as we walk inside we feel comfortable and relaxed with the fireplace, the decor, and the soft lighting. My husband and I celebrated our 32nd Anniversary last week at Irv’s Pub in Hershey, one of our favorite places to treat ourselves to a relaxing, delicious dinner!

Something I appreciate about Irv’s is that they connect with neighboring suppliers and breweries to support the local economy. I also love the atmosphere, which is slightly different in each of the three rooms.

Irv’s has this amazing 6 before 6 deal where they offer certain small plates or appetizers for only $6, along with drink specials, including $1 off drafts and $6 signature cocktails.

Our appetizer was Deviled Eggs made with crispy Chesapeake oysters, applewood smoked bacon, and smoked paprika

We love to mix things up and share plates. That way we get to try more flavors and dishes. For our main meal, off of the dinner menu, we shared Korean Chicken (made with crispy Bell & Evans chicken, gochujang bbq sauce, napa kimchi, gochugaru peanuts, sesame seeds, and spring onions) and a Fall Harvest Salad with shrimp, along with blistered brussel sprouts off of the small plates menu. The chicken was tender, flavorful, and pleasingly moist.

Our drinks came from the Rotunda Brewing Company in Annville. Interesting side note: my family lived in Annville for several years when I was a little girl.  Anyway, I ordered a Hopped Tarts: Wild Berry and Ken loved his COCOa: Mocha.

For those with a curious appetite, just take a look at Irv’s full menu. My curious appetite is always satisfied at Irv’s, and I highly recommend them, especially if you are a fan of new tastes and gourmet dishes.

I’ll end with a little money saving tip: if you shop at the Giant in Hershey, on the back of your receipt you’ll find a $10 off coupon to clip and use at Irv’s.
