Trying new recipes and dishes is something I’ve grown to love in this season of my life. You’d never know I was an extremely picky eater as a child!
My husband, Ken, and I live in a small college town with our elderly mini-dachshund and a sweet guinea pig. We love our three adult children and the ongoing adventure with them – with one being married, one recently got engaged and one is currently in a dating relationship.
I am a Certified Christian Life Coach, and have also completed the Foundations of Biblical Counseling program offered by the Christian Counseling and Education Foundation’s School of Biblical Counseling.
I recently resigned as president of a non-profit organization (with a vision to honor women, especially those who’ve been affected by sex trafficking or sexual abuse). This decision has enabled me to devote more time to family, especially as an additional caregiver to both my parents and my husband’s mom.
Writing, taking photos, and sharing my culinary experiences is something I enjoy doing which is why I started this blog. I’m excited about sharing my cooking adventures, exploring our local eating establishments and posting my own reviews, and simply letting the creative juices flow!
I hope you have a curious appetite and decide to join me on this culinary adventure.
